Peace on the sea
Music in me
But, the rain starts falling
The storm is calling

“You won’t win this.
Why would you even begin this
Fight?”

Well, here I am
And here I’ll stand
You can’t take away the peace
In my soul
And if you tear me apart
He’ll make me whole
When I reach the kingdom-
Kingdom of heaven.

Storm on the sea
Music’s left me
The rain keeps falling
The storm is calling

“Just give up now.
I don’t know how
You could be such a fool.”

Well, here I am
And here I’ll stand
You can’t take away the peace
In my soul
And if you tear me apart
He can make me whole
When I reach that kingdom-
Kingdom of heaven.

The wind and the waves
Will obey His voice
Victory’s coming
Defeat’s not a choice
My future’s secured
My hope is assured
By the sufferings He endured

Well, here I am
And here I’ll stand
You can’t take away the peace
In my soul
And if you kill me today
By tomorrow, I’ll be made whole…

I’ll see my Savior’s face
And be wrapped in His embrace
The One who holds my heart-
We’ll never be apart
Again

We’ll walk hand-in-hand
Down streets of gold
In that kingdom-
Kingdom of heaven

Oh, I’ll reach His kingdom
Kingdom of heaven…
