Thank you for visiting my website! I appreciate your interest in my writings more than I can ever begin to say. I would like to take this time, however, to explain the reason for what I write and the reason this website is up and running. I write what is on my heart, on my mind, and impressing itself upon my soul. I understand fully that some may not see eye to eye with me on some counts. And that is fine. I want you to tell me if you honestly have a problem with the views I express on this blog. I will be truly happy to hear your side and think on it. Furthermore, I understand the situations in my poetry and songs may seem unclear. You will find that I enjoy using imagery and metaphor in my writings. My goal is to make a strong point without hammering it. To imagine what a hurting, broken person is feeling and help them heal, I believe you should try to become broken yourself. I believe God places words and pictures into our hearts to show us His plan and how to live it. I may learn my lessons differently than others, and I write this blog to show my journey. But,I would love to know yours, as well:) I simply wanted to tell you that many of my writings do not fit together. Some are about love between people( parent-child, man-woman)and some are about our love for God. Many attempt to express God’s forgiveness and love to us in our own weakness. They express many thoughts on many subjects that cross my 16-year-old mind on a daily basis. Are they a little dramatic? Often, yes. Could I write it out safer and simpler? Probably. But, poetry and music are forms of expression. They are not written to be accepted or praised. They are written to be read and that is all I ask of my readers. Read and think.
